Certified FORTIFIED Home Roofing Installation

SERVING SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA. RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS. FAST & AFFORDABLE.

Atlantic Construction Consulting is pleased to be a certified FORTIFIED Home roofing installer. With an Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) Bronze-compliant roof, you will have some of the best protection against severe weather. A stronger roof may help reduce your chances of potential damage from wind driven rain and high winds. Plus, with a FORTIFIED Home Bronze designation, you may be eligible for a wind mitigation credit which may lower your insurance premium (check with your insurance provider for details).

How to Get a FORTIFIED ROOF

  • The first step is to notify NCIUA of your plans to upgrade at (919) 821-1299
  • Contact Atlantic Construction Consulting and we will provide you with an estimate at (910) 239-8067
  • After contacting NCIUA, you will be assigned a coordinator who will walk you through the process
  • You will also work with a FORTIFIED Evaluator who will assist you and work with both you and Atlantic Construction Consulting  during the installation. They will help inspect and document the repairs and renovations and submit the details of IBHS.
  • Finally IBHS will review the documentation and, if compliant, will issue a FORTIFIED Home Bronze designation

What if my home was damaged by Hurricane Florence?

It depends on the territory your home is in. In certain designated areas, covered roof claims with more than 50% damage may be eligible for reimbursements for some of the costs associated with upgrading to a FORTIFIED Roof.

Roof Repair Services

The typical asphalt roof has a normal lifespan of about 20 years, according to most experts. However, a lot can happen in those 20 years. Your roof is exposed to all sorts of environmental wear and tear, including wind, rain, snow and ice. Severe storms can cause fallen tree limbs and other debris to damage your roof. Accumulation of leaves, pine needles and other debris from mother nature can trap moisture and cause weakness in the roof’s materials. These are all issues we consider when we examine a roof and make recommendations for repairs, upgrades and routine services.

Some of our roofing services include:

  • Roof leaks
  • Blow-off damage from wind
  • Ice and/or hail damage
  • Structural damage from fallen trees and large limbs
  • Damaged gutters and downspouts
  • Rotting wood or roof sheathing
  • Damage to skylights
  • And more…
